 Born in the year 1960 at Trichur District, kerala (Cultural Centre of Kerala). Since his school days he was attracted to Theatre and engaged in theatre activities as Prompter, Stage Manager and Actor. In the year 1980 with likeminded people he formed a theatre group viz. Vyasa Theatres and produced "Dharsanam" written by Shri.N.S.Ramachandran and "Dweepu" written by well known novelist Shri.C.Radhakrishnan. Both the plays were Directed by Shri.A.R.Thilakan. He won the Best Actor Award for the role in "Dweepu" in the All Kerala Drama Competitions conducted by Kendus Arts, Kandassankadavu. One of the founder members of "Kaliarangu" the first campus theatre of Kerala in Sri.Kerala Varma College, Trichur. Kaliarangu has produced many one-act plays viz. "Athbuthanganam", "pavakoothu", "Kizhavanum Kazhuthayum", "Ulaguda Perumal", "Chennaykkal Athava Pattini Maranam", "Alende & Olivers", "Avasanathe Vilpana", "Agnivarnante Kalukal" & "Vadakaveedu". Shri. Jose Chirammal, the then BTA student of School of Drama, Trichur & a famous theatre personality has given training and co-ordinated the performances of Kaliarangu.
